Your characters are yours: bring them with you
Every Chub character card can be downloaded as a JSON file, and PersonaChat reads that format natively. The import carries the character's description, personality, scenario, opening message, alternate greetings, example dialogue, and creator notes, the things that make a character feel like themselves. Lorebooks don't transfer, and imported characters are subject to PersonaChat's content guidelines.
The whole process takes about a minute per character: follow the step-by-step import guide. And whether or not you switch, downloading JSON copies of characters you care about is simply good practice: platforms change rules; files in your own storage don't.
